Sweet and sour spare ribs

How to make home-style Chinese spare ribs?Today I would like to recommend 

this popular dish which is one of our family favorites. The recipe is super easy, 

sweet and sour taste would make your mouth water.

List of ingredients: 


spare ribs :500g   

Seasonings and Sauces: 

Cooking wine :2 spoons

Chinese vinegar :1 spoon

Light soy sauce : 2 spoons

dark soy souce :1 spoon

Salt:1 spoon

Ginger :5 pieces

White pepper: a little
Starch:a moderate amount of

Rock candy:a moderate amount of

Water :a moderate amount of

Steps of cooking

1.Cut the spare ribs to small pieces (about 3 cm), cleaning the spareribs with the warm water

2. With 1 teaspoon of cooking wine, half a teaspoon of salt, a little white

pepper, 5 pieces Ginger, whisk well and marinate for 20 minutes.

3.Remove,wash clean and water control; then mix the spare ribs with  starch.

4. Heat oil to 6 minutes heat (160 degrees or so),pour the spare ribs and 

fry for about 2 minutes,remove; Wait until the pan is heated again (about

190 degrees), fry again for the second time, fry until the surface is golden brown and crisp, remove and set aside.

Leave a small amount of base oil in the wok, pour the pork ribs, a little chitsuruya sushi vinegar, half a teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of light soy sauce ,a moderate amount of rock candy,a teaspoon of dark soy sauce add a little water, continue fry for about 3 minutes ,then pour a moderate amount of water,turn the fire and thicken the sauce.

5. Sprinkle with a little sesame seeds and stir fry,turn off the fire sheng out

6. The delicious sweet and sour spare ribs is ready.
